This flight was a test with a transmitter running around 10 mW, AM on 433mhz. The balloon was launched from inside Calgary. The balloon was predicted to fly southeast for 70+ km. Average speed was estimated around 70 KM/h. This was a test of a 100 gram balloon inflated with H2 gas. Rate of ascent around 4 m/s. Payload mass is 16 grams with a 6Volt battery pack (2xcr2032. This launch used around 5.5cubic feet of H2 (total) and the payload total weight was 11 grams. We used field-hell, RTTY for this flight. Both were readable for the flight. (in and out)
